I am so grateful you have come across my path and are in the realm of practicing the healing arts with your body, mind and spirit

I became a practicing embodiment artist to help people reconnect peace and balance within their bodies. After being in a few religious organizations and in church leadership for over a decade in the Southern United States, my nervous system finally broke down from life stress. I saw the power of restrictive beliefs over my body and I had to reclaim authority over my life again.

As someone who has lived through many accounts of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, physical touch was still a very scary thing to invite into my body. I also knew that it would be crucial for me to develop safe relationship with touch in my adult life to help heal where pain had been placed. Intentional, loving touch healed what abuse had taken from me.

As I started deconstructing years of all the trauma and abuse in those places, I emptied what I had accumulated in my energetic bathtub of life and drained out every system and person that clouded me.  Then I asked myself, "How do I want to fill myself up again? What does that look like for me?"

I started dancing again.

I found a massage therapist who was also an energy healer. I started to shed old skin and regenerated the new cells in my body again with every session we did together. I started to reconnect and support my body, mind and spirit again. I finally found what I was looking for.... which was my true Self. 

I started looking into the world of healing modalities to support my new path and unfolding. I became a Reiki Master in 2017, which led to teaching those in my community about the chakra energy systems and mastering them within oneself. The more I grew in Reiki and the chakra system, the more I desired to learn the science of the body and gain deeper understanding of all of our systems.

I chose a holistic school that aligned with my path of whole body and whole living awareness. My second wave of practice brings the mastery of  Swedish Massage, CranioSacral, Lymphatic Drainage, and Acupressure to being a licensed therapist.  There is more information on the details of those modalities on the Services and Rates page of this website.
